Fundenii Doamnei Church
Fundenii Doamnei Church, dedicated to St. Euthymius the Great, was built on the shore of Lake Fundeni by the Grand Spătar Mihai Cantacuzino and completed on 1 May 1699. The name comes from Lady Maria Ghica, who renovated it in 1860. Although it dates from the Brâncovenesc era, it has a shorter triconch plan than usual, and the facades bear unusual stucco decoration inspired by Persian miniatures: vases of flowers, cypresses, fountains and palaces. The interior painting was done by Pârvu Mutu's workshop, which painted a large Last Judgment in the porch.
