Ion Mincu Institute of Architecture Palace
The Palace of the Institute of Architecture, near Piața Universității, is the seat of the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism. The building was erected between 1921 and 1927 to plans by Grigore Cerchez, as supervising architect, assisted by Iorgu Ciortan. In front of it stood the Enei Church, demolished in 1977 after the nearby Dunărea apartment block had collapsed in the earthquake.
