Ion Mincu House
The Ion Mincu House, at 19 Pictor Arthur Verona Street, was the home of the architect Ion Mincu, designer of the Șosea Buffet. Mincu bought it in March 1890 from the architect Gaetano Burelli and extended it, adding the wing facing the garden. The L-shaped building has a vaulted cellar, a ground floor and an upper floor; the window pediments bear cartouches with the initials I.E.M., and the façades of the central block are girded by a sawtooth stucco band. The side wing, with the outbuildings, has accents closer to the Neo-Romanian style.
