Water mill
St. John Monastery Mill
A water mill on the Dâmbovița, in the Grozăvești area, marked on old maps as the property of a monastery dedicated to St. John; the Cotroceni Monastery mill was also shown next to it. The Grozăvești mills were among those targeted by the 1865 law, which required the removal of the weirs and dams that caused flooding from the bed of the Dâmbovița.
