Lost church
St. Nicholas Church (lost)
Old plans of Bucharest show here, west of Piața Unirii, near Domnița Bălașa Church, a church dedicated to St. Nicholas that no longer exists. The area was heavily transformed in the 1980s, during the construction of the Civic Center and Unirii Boulevard, when several churches with this dedication disappeared, among them St. Nicholas-Sârbi (1985) and St. Nicholas-Jitniță (1986).
